Day 4: Death Valley and Bishop NP

Death Valley. The hottest, driest and most lifeless place on earth. We got experience the 42 degree heat surrounding these impressive hills and dunes. Totally different to Vegas which we only left that morning in a totally hungover and sleep deprived state.

We drove to the visitor centre, the hottest point, the lowest point and the sand dunes where they filmed some of the original Star Wars scenes.
We were way below sea level and on completely flat ground so perspective photos were a must.

That night when we got to camp, we set up and made dinner. After dark, we went to the hot springs in Bishop which were amazing. Large pools of warm water which contrasted the cool night air. We all got to wear glow sticks which not only was a great vibe, but also a means of identification in the dark!

It was so fun and a nice change just to chill with everybody in the water.

Next up, Yosemite!

Speak soon,
