The next day, after getting breakfast (again) at Denny's and waving Danae's family off to Vegas, Danae and I went to Santa Monica pier and walked the entire length.
We then took a really nice but hot walk all the way down to Venice beach and passing Muscle beach.
We wandered round Abbott Kinney street for a bit before getting lunch at Lemonade and went to Bristol Farm an upmarket grocery store in search of this cookie dough in a jar that we had heard about a couple of years ago!!
We headed back to the house, grabbed our things and met up with our tour group at the Hilton hotel. We met so many cool people already and most of us went to dinner at Carl's Jr. where we were able to get to know eachother ready for the week ahead.
It was a good day and the official start of me and Danae tearing up America together. We have been waiting for this!
