Early Sunday morning, we bundled ourselves into the bus we now call our second home and headed to the California/Arizona border. The previous night we had met our tour group, grabbed some dinner and stayed up talking in the hotel lobby, excited for the trip ahead.
We stopped for In n Out burger a couple of hours into the journey and had already encountered different climates and terrains.
After another few hours driving we reached Joshua Tree national park. Our first opportunity to take cool photos and do a bit of rock climbing.
We had a to make a stop at Walmart before driving to camp in Lake Havasu, AZ.
We arrived just before sunset and managed to get camp set up just in time. We had spag bol for dinner and all helped to clean the bus and wash up. It was still really warm all night, very different to LA.
We stayed up talking after dinner for a while before our hectic day caught up with us and we tried to get some sleep #tentlife.
